What was the distribution of wealth in the US in 1900?

With all the hoopla about wealth distribution lately, I haven't heard anything about what it was back at the turn of the last century. Just curious to know how it has changed, OR if it has fundamentally changed.

Touche. Well, I did spend some time trying to "look it up," but didn't have any success. I was hoping to benefit from those who might be familiar with the answer to the question.

Good advice, though, as it doesn't seem to be of interest to too many people. Thanks!

In order to get some responses, you might want to give more definition to your query.

Are you interested in the statistics on a global scale, regional scale or for a specific country?
