I initially thought that, but "rescreened" is also a past participle like "rerun".
EITHER
They rescreened the movie/They reran the movie
OR
The movie was rescreened/The movie was rerun.

I therefore think the question poorly worded as stated here. The argument that "rerun" is also a noun like "movie" might in fact sway the answer to that, assuming "movie" is a synonym for the required word. That argument might be further supported if brackets were consistently used for synonyms by the compiler.

That being the case fresco, Lovatts are obliged and will accept both answers. Thanks for your input.
