Am stuck on a seemingly easy clue and answer.
Clue : 65down witty conversation.
My pattern is ??D?N??E
I have "rascal" for 65 across but maybe that is incorrect.
And repartee does not fit with what's going across.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted. Thanks in advance.

Hey Jespah....I ended up putting in badinage because it fit with other words across, but am now left with the clue 65 across "of the cheek" and the pattern is now B?SCAL Yikes!!!! Any suggestions now? And thanks for the other one. Definition of frustration, but it's great when it's done.

Hey Jespah. This one was hard!!!
I think I've solved it. I had prosthesis for 18 down and it should have been prosthetic. That changed the pattern across. Therefore badinage is correct and buccal is part of the cheek. Whew! Just in case anybody else is stuck, it may help. And thanks Jespah for your help anyway.
