@adippered,
adippered I noticed you always ask for lots of help with your puzzles. Let me give you a tip, all the answers can be found on the Internet, and that's where I find mine. You should be able to do any Lovatts puzzle within a couple of hours!

@Dutchy,
Dutchy agree with you i know i ask for a few but i battle on till it's a last resort and then maybe 1 or 2 (it might take me a few more hours then 2 but the satisfaction os that i have down it my self) Adippered the fun of doing the corssword puzzles is to work out the anwsers yourself not have other people do the work for you

@carrottop10,
Hi carrottop10 further to dutchy's advice some useful sites are :-
theaurus .com/onelook dictionary .com/answers .com/oneacross .com
Look these up and put them in your favourites or better still your favourites tool bar which then gives you easy access, no doubt others have thier favourite sites.philcottie

Didn't have to dig anywhere; I am British, and aware of the history of our armed forces.

@philcottie,
thanks philcottie i have invested in some dictionaries for my pc as i say i may ask for help on 1 or 2 clues but when you ask for help on up to 40+ clues over about 3 puzzles where is the fun in that? to my mind thats the easy way of solving puzzles. to me part of the enjoyment of solving the puzzles is trawling through books and looking on the internet and working it out for yourself
