can anyone help me confirm the following
36a - DROVE - motivated to move animals from one place to another.
crossing I have - decreed, astronomers and prefect - and
42d - ELAPSED - the french sped off after sweetheart slipped away.
crossing I have gorge, emporer, eye and get ahead.
thanks to all in advance

@hutcho89,
I don't have the magazine but would guess that drove is correct.
@hutcho89,
Hi hutcho89
Both DROVE and ELAPSED are correct.
Goods luck.
@Dutchy,
Thank you very much Dutchy. I once would never try a Cryptic, but they are now the FIRST ones I try. Might have to put it away for a while, but I gotta come back to it.
Thanks again

@jespah,
well done - thanks for that, we must be right 'cos Dutchy agrees also.
Thanks again jespah.

@hutcho89,
Hutcho89, Shouldn't emporer be EMPEROR? as in EMPEROR Penguin?
@Vegemite,
Phew! - just noticed your post Vegemite. I did make a typo and had EMPEROR all the time.
Thank you very much for your input.
