l am in need of a little help 357a drastic (??T?E?T)could this be entreat,but crossword answer comes up with -violent- but then the letter O becomes last letter in clue 341d module (UNIT)which means O does not fit, hope you can understand the way l have put it, thanks in advance .

Hi, the clue to 343d is NITWIT, to fit into the word extremE,the only answer l can think of is DOPE, what do you think Just found another one needed 232d Pines (?R?TS), the old eraser pen has been working overtime, thanks/:->

I feel dope is your answer for 343d. My puzzle dictionary for NITWIT gives me 7 four letter words: boob, clod, dolt, dope,, fool, gowk and yo-yo.
For 232d I suggest FRETS
