@Nikki18,
some lovely pictures there nikki.
I saw a TV program about Azerbaijan recently. The contrast between city and rural/farming areas is quite marked.

@Nikki18,
Hi Nikki

Welcome to A2K

We had quite a LOT of snow this year in the UK, Scotland and the North of England were hit quite badly and we're not geared up as a country to be able to cope like the USA or the European countries across the channel, so the UK came to a halt for quite a while at the end of last year and the beginning of this year.

Ordinarily, we don't get so much snow and we have a temperate climate - it's unusual for us to have very high temperatures or very cold temperatures.

We do live in a very beautiful part of the world here.

Australia is very lovely too Very Happy

@Nikki18,
I have a relative in England who married a woman from Abkhazia.
I think Abkhazia is near to Azerbaijan.
He speaks the language and lives there for many month each year.
