How is it that you ended up with a title but no plot?

Is this a homework assignment?

No I was just sat in My Media Studies class and my teacher asked us to promote her an Action Adventure Film, so I came up with a name but needed a plot. Its fine now Iv done it, it was of no importancce I just like writing questions on here.

What you are actually looking for is the story; the plot maps out the how the story works.

When people try to sell a movie idea to a studio, they generally submit a treatment, or take a meeting and pitch an idea - and that treatment or idea is a story. After an idea is approved, the movie goes into "development" which involves plotting the script.
