There seems to be confusion with 179 dn if it is evert (clue turn out) because all definitions of this says turn inside out,so can you clear this up philcottie

EVERT is the correct answer for 179d.

thanks dutchy that is what I have but others don't go along with that for the reasons I stated.I found it in the The Ulimate Crossword Dictionary/edwin faint and is the only source that says exactly what the clue says I.E. TURN OUT and Dictionary .infoplease.com doesn't use that phrase.So I am not confused but some of my fellow puzzlers are.philcottie.
