Yale Law School Professor Amy Chua has recently shot to prominence with her new bestselling book:
........................' BATTLE HYMN OF THE TIGER MOM '
.........and in doing so has become a minor celebrity on the talk show circuit
This book has sparked much debate and controversy amongst western journalists
@JGoldman10,
She gave the name to herself when she titled her book as she did.
@boomerang,
Does it have something to do with the Chinese Zodiac?
@JGoldman10,
further proof of the ignorance of JGoldman10, the book by Amy Chua is titled "Battle Hymn of the Tiger MOTHER."

Definition of a Tiger Mother
Tiger mothers are strict parents who demand excellence in academics from their children. “The Tiger, the living symbol of strength and power, generally inspires fear and respect,” Ms. Chua writes in her memoir, Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother (The Penguin Press, 2011). She proudly relates her own authoritarian upbringing and how she’s passing on the rigid parenting style her parents practiced.
Is Ms. Chua the first person to coin this phrase?
@JGoldman10,
Can you EVER admit you were wrong?
