Last night, I watched the wonderful DVD, Leonard Cohen Live in London. (See it if you are a Cohen fan. Great musicians! Great memories! A concert with a warm, living room feel to it.)
I was struck by how I now perceived that the aging Cohen resembles another iconic Leonard, Leonard Nimoy. In a Cohen mood, I was tooling through youtube for his performances and found his 1970 appearance on the Isle of Wight where he more closely resembled Dustin Hoffman.

Philip Quast is an Australian actor whose most famous role is Inspector Javert in the musical Les Miserables. Someone commented on youtube that he resembles another Austrialian actor, Russel Crowe. While there is some resemblance, he more closely resembles the late Richard Burton, probably because all three men share a Celtic ancestry.

I've always thought Brad Pitt looked like a young Robert Redford. Well, before he grew facial hair. Robert Reford also reminds me of Robert Bateman. I'll see if I can find pics.

I have noticed that although the fact that Superman's vanity has driven him to wear contact lens muddies the issue.

I always think of Redford as a blonde and Pitt as a brunette, so I had to look at both men.

You can see that both men have square jaws but pointed chins. They both have a thin upper lip but a full lower lip. Despite different noses, they do look alike.
