Teaching English Overseas

I have been doing a lot of research on teaching overseas. The vast amount of resources on the web has made it difficult to focus in on a good opportunity. My girlfriend of 5 years is coming with me as well. My questions:

-To start, I'd like to be in Southeast Asia: Are there any programs that you would advise me use to start? (we have looked through Footprints Recruiting, Reach to Teach, etc) Any recommendations on countries? (we were drawn to Taiwan)

-We will be getting a TEFL certificate. Any recommendations for online certification? (currently looking at the i-to-i 120 hour course) What is a reasonable price range for certification? (i-to-i is $499)

Have I answered my own questions or am I missing some other great opportunities?
