If you Google Amesian, it comes up with lots of interesting information, Amesian being a person who takes photos of various places so that eventually you can do a virtual tour of the world. (I think his name is Ian Ames.) I could not find any three letter word, AS? in the bits I read but you might like to check it out and read through the various sites shown.
