Yes, that would be a good thing to do, dj.

After consultation with the thread instigator first, of course! Wink

@dlowan,
Yes, so I've gathered.

I've made embarrassing mistakes like this myself, & was set straight on the one occasion I requested help with a quite misleading thread title (because a word was mispelt* ... & in no uncertain terms!!!) Shocked
I wouldn't dare ask, ever again! Wink
Now I check my online spelling like a hawk, but mistakes still manage to rear their ugly heads, somehow.

But I understand, I do understand ... a moderator's work is never done.

* Did I just misspell "mispelt" ? My spellcheck just informed me that I did ... but no solution offered. "Mispelled" instead? Confused

If I was a moderator, I would remove SPAM on posts.

@Intrepid,
I've already reported the joker, and it appears that there is a moderator on duty, because all of his or her posts have now disappeared.

You'll have to explain that further, Setanta ...
Because I have no idea about what you mean.

@Setanta,
I seriously have no idea of what you & Intrepid are talking about, Setanta.

It would have been nice to have had a response to my question, but not to worry ...

But carry on talking about fish, or anything else, if you like.

@msolga,
It's a play on words. The US has all sorts of weird Miss this and that contests. Like Miss Ohio Dairy Queen and such like.

Miss Spelt....he thought that spelt was a fish...

Actually, spelt is a grain:

spelt2
n
(Life Sciences & Allied Applications / Plants) a species of wheat, Triticum spelta, that was formerly much cultivated and was used to develop present-day cultivated wheats
[Old English; related to Old Saxon spelta, Old High German spelza]

It's just good humoured play on words Msolga.

Oh, OK, whatever ....

Yes, I know that spelt is a grain.

Not to worry about any further explanations.

I'm fine.

I am not sure what it is that I wrote that you do not understand. Please let me know and I will be happy to provide clarification.

For the record, I was not involved in any discussion on fish.

Confused
