Do you have "attribute" for 39 across . That appears to be the answer now?
I'm also swaying backwards and forwards over "bit" or "kid" as the answer to 34 across. Maybe it's kid and they are trying to trick us. More research required?

Better cruciverbalists than me have convinced me "KID" could be the answer after I originally thought BIT was the answer.

Isn't cruciverbalists a great word. I'm one of them it appears. Never compiled a cryptic however, but have done difficult ones with my mum when she was here. Great fun can be had with words, that's for sure.

I've decided to put two entries in .... one with "kid" and one with "bit".
Knowing the law of averages, however, probably neither would be pulled out.
I'm thinking "kid" actually. Probably go with that one.

Yes I do like the Accrostics too, a bit time consuming but gives one a great deal of satisfaction once completed. I love the Cryptics best of all.
