the cost of a cellphone call at hotel is determined by the formula C=0.35t+0.06 where C is the cost, in dollars, and t is the length of the call, in minutes. what is the length of the call that costs $5.85 ?
a.3 min
b.6 min
c.15min
d.18 min
None of these.
I make it 16.5 minutes
Any feedback? Other opinion?
@bradleyjackson,
It would be c.15 if the formula used a constant of 0.60 instead of 0.06. Typo?
