Killing deer with arrows is not the easiest thing in the world...
How old are you, male, female, weight, how heavy a bow can you pull and shoot comfortably?

Not really trying to insult anybody... The name is not gender specific and the picture could belong to a (pretty) young woman or a 14-year-old boy equally easily...
You need at least 40 and preferably 45 lbs of draw weight in a compound bow to kill whitetails, good shot placement, and a broadhead which penetrates easily and the Aftershocks may really be the best since they open INSIDE prey animals and do not use energy opening against hide or ribs.
Bows and shotguns are alike in that the most major concern is fit and in the case of a bow the most crucial piece of the whole picture is draw length. You can GET stronger but, after you're fully grown, your arms aren't going to get any longer.
