am stuck on answer namely 165 dn and am stuck with U?P?E?R and the clue is Ill Defined have ccross checked connecting and all seem to be in order.I think this could be UMPTEEN and if so need another answer for 193 ac where I now have N?A??K?N before I had REAWAKEN which fitted Now await the findings of the brains out there.philcottie

I don't have the crossword, but your first word looks like UNCLEAR, so try getting rid of the P.

I have the following:
165a = USER
173a = CAST
185a = EMBRYO
193 = REAWAKEN
So 165d = UNCLEAR.
I've completed both the Big and Colossus should you be stuck.
