I love the mud skippers and I was just wondering if anyone else held this creature close to their heart.

I hold capybara dear to my heart, but that's just me I guess, pulling for the over sized rats of this world.

are they anything like mud puppies?

I was the first person to positively identify a colony of mud puppies in Perth County back in around 1978. Good news for people who didn't want some development near that particular creek.
