Can anyone recommend a good school for boys - either public or private?
Originally from Sydney, we are needing to relocate after living in Hong Kong the past 6 months.
Although my son is fairly bright, he has had some behavioural problems so I'm looking for a school that has a good reputation of pastoral care and learning support. He will be going into Grade 9.
Any personal experiences or recommendations would be hugely appreciated.

I don't think you'll get much of a response here - not many people have any experience with high schools in Sydney (well mine was 40 years ago!)
A bit depends on where you plan to live, and whether you want your boy to go to one of the big schools , e.g. St Josephs, Hunters Hill, Sydney Grammar, or one of the smaller schools.
Friends sent their kid to Reddan at, I think, Bondi, and got good results.
I know nwxt to nothing about state schools.
