He's ... allegedly finishing his memoirs (aka he's supervising his ghost writer finish Bush's memoirs).

Do you mean George Bush the 43rd, or do you refer to Dubya's birth year?


If the former, I doubt even a humunculous as yet....if the latter, I don't give a fabulous flying ****. Just not influencing politics anywhere is all I hope.

43rd is to distinguish George W. Bush from his father who was the 41st president of the US.

When asked in February 2010 about his low profile since leaving office, Bush replied "I have no desire to see myself on television... I don't want to be a panel of formers instructing the currents on what to do. ... I'm trying to regain a sense of anonymity. I didn't like it when a certain former president — and it wasn't 41 (George H.W. Bush) or 42 (Bill Clinton) — made my life miserable." Bush was referring to 39th President Jimmy Carter, who was an outspoken critic of Bush throughout his presidency.

Actually, the Republicans have moved far to the right of GWB, so I wouldn't mind if he was around exerting a moderating influence on the right.
