I'm impressed with the two levels to it -- on the one hand, a powerful message for gay teens, and on the other, a powerful message for the rest of us, especially all of these videos cumulatively (click on the video to see others in the "It Gets Better" series). They're addressing gay teens in an upbeat, positive way, but the stuff these people have gone through! And it's just so matter-of-fact. Yeah, that's how it is for gay teens. Powerful for those of us who DIDN'T have to experience it, I think.
As a strait person I don't get why people have a problem with someone’s sexual orientation, I believe that a person who is gay should have the same wrights as everyone else, like marriage, gay people have the right to be miserable too, they are people just like anyone else, and should be treated as such.
