Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Walt Dohrn?

The Shrek franchise has consisted of three movies so far, and probably about three other short knock-offs. They have drawn in the infamous Mike Myers as Shrek of course, but many other stars as well including Justin Timberlake, Cameron Diaz, John Lithgow, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas, Larry King, and in their final installment we can expect Megan Fox and Walt Dohrn.
What, you haven’t heard of Walt Dohrn?
Well he’s only a writer and animator of “SpongeBob SquarePants”. No he’s never made an appearance on the red carpet, but clearly you’ve see his illustrations.
So how did drawing land him a role?
Well, a long, long time ago in the Shrek Studios of L.A. Dohrn was hired to help out with the movie “Shrek 2” and hit it off, climbing with promotions until finally he achieved the job of story editor. (I know, I know, this isn’t adding up to a lead role – just wait.)
Apparently, as story editor, part of the process is hashing out a rough copy of the characters and plot on a storyboard. This proceeds to be recorded, with him and some colleagues mimicking the voices to all the characters. So Dohrn spent a year playing everyone from Puss-in-Boots to Fiona for the sake of his storyboard. However, he caused one character to literally and figuratively jump off the page. The movie’s sly-talking villain, Rumpelstiltskin.
Within a short period of time, our new star seems to have taken up method acting – in which he will attempt through any means to get into his character’s head. In this case, he drinks lots of coffee to get himself, “good and yelly”.
