Each time I access Outlook Express 6.0 (Windows XP), I am asked for my account password. I have received advice on correcting this issue from technical support and the password request still exists. This is a very annoying occurence each time I check mail. Any suggestions for correcting this issue will certainly be appreciated.
Have you verified your OE Account information against the provider's requirements for setting up POP E-mail?
Yes, I have verified my account info. and deleted and re-entered my POP3 account information more than once...but no change in the password issue. Since displaying this post, I have discovered some errors in my registry that have been corrected and no longer being asked for password when opening Outlook Express. Thanks for your reply jgweed. Issue is solved.
