Cable Channles Online

The only options I'm aware of are Stars is featured on Netflix and channels like Discovery and the National Geographic have their own respective websites with a very limited scope of shows from their broadcast.

I wish there was a legal and reliable source online to some of at least the basic cable channels like the above to broadcast via online streaming that could show the channel's broadcast as it's done live. Leave in the commercials. I don't care. If the channel can make money this way and remain online streaming then I'd be quite chuff.

I was so frustrated when I tried to watch this year's Oscar ceremony and the powers that be tried to shut down the third party online streaming sources. Can't remember the site now so don't bother asking.
