La Garconne sells expensive clothes on line, but the service is terrible. The order was placed in June, they shipped it to me on August 12. I was charged ridiculous fees. When I called customers service, i would always get straight to voice mail, and when i leave my phone number, they would never call back. DO NOT SHOP THERE, ITS OVERPRICED ANYWAY (Paid $1,500 for 5 items). If any body knows where else i can leave a bad review, please let me know.
@grushenichka,
Fashion Sauce is a site that allows for consumers to review stores both on-line and off. You are welcome to do a rant there for other shoppers to see:

@grushenichka,
there's also the good ol' better biz bureau...

@Region Philbis,
Thank you very much. I will definitely check it out.
@Green Witch,
Thank you. I posted my comment. La Garconne still didnt ship the package. WOW, I am so irritated
@grushenichka,
sorry to hear about your bad experience; i just had my own version of your problem: they don't post any measurements or specific sizing info on their website, and their customer service rep gave me the wrong info on a final sale item, leaving me with a pair of pants that i can't wear and they're not willing to do an exchange on.
they really need to overhaul their store policy and customer service reps' way of handling cases like this. i'm definitely not shopping at their site anymore after this - la garconne has no respect or concern or responsibility for conducting an online boutique business.
Just to add to the conversation, I emailed them for sizing information, and never heard back (a week and counting...). It was a $500+ item. I love their selection, but that makes it a very easy decision to shop elsewhere.
wow.
that site has some seriously ugly ****.
Why pay so much for clothes that look horrible? Those look like things you can find in goodwill.
@shewolfnm,
You prompted me to look SheWolf and I think you're right. This cashmere poncho looks like something my great Aunt Sheila would have worn to my cousin Benny's Long Island bat mitzvah in 1974. Cost $795.00, but they donate $20 of the cost to "Care" (I would ask to see the charity receipt). What a waste of goat hair.
If it was a summer bat mitzvah she would go with the silk ($765)
it is ... horrible.
even on the front page, the model does not even fit the clothes correctly.
Do women ever pay attention to how their body looks in clothes? or just buy because ' its in style' ..
im not posting directly to anyone on this thread!
just sayin.. that is some really tacky stuff.
Lagarconne- Don't risk your money! I also had a terrible experience. From my experience the quality of the merchandise they sell is totally unimportant to them. I ordered a $500 which fell apart after wearing it twice. They told me they would not take the item back and were not in the least concerned about being an advocate of the side of a customer. I asked for the contact of the maker so I could contact them direct and they never returned my email. They need to learn a bit about service from the better, more established luxury sites. It is quite clear they do not value their customers. Behind that website they are third rate all the way!
