@Pepijn Sweep,
Code:
http://nl.tinypic.com/r/21axr10/6 no pie on the screen... Mad
Use the Img button that is to the left of the URL button you mistakenly used.

Give it another try. A2K used to have a practice thread for new people to try out things like this and get help fixing it when it didn't work. We might as well use this thread for that too!

@Pepijn Sweep,
PJ (Hope you don't mind my indulging in that for a second. One of my best friends of long ago was called PJ)...

I clicked on your tinypic link and then right clicked on the image. If you're using Internet Explorer, you'll then click on Properties. If you're using Firefox you'll click on View Image. Under Properties, you'll find a URL with a jpg ending. That's the link you want to use. In Firefox, the image will be displayed in a new browser window and you want to use that URL.

Here's the URL. Give it another try in your next post. Just click the IMG button and paste this url between the two codes.

Code:

@ossobuco,
Well, my how-to note was probably too terse. EhBeth is right, in that the url has to end in jpeg, gif, or possibly some other photo type indicator.

Meantime, for all the newbies, particularly Sandra - here's a crostata di mele e mandorle (apple and almonds) -

Another hint - to find the source of a photo on a forum, with a mac, just click on it at the same time you click on control, and then choose Open Image in a New Window. Look at the url above. This one is from a Flickr account, and the website is shown on the photo. Sometimes following the links will lead to a lot of wonderful photos and interesting people. If you have a pc, I think you get there by clicking (what, I don't remember) and selecting properties...

@dyslexia,
Certamente. I happen to have never baked a crostata. I don't know why, as they appeal to me. Maybe next week. I have made Torta di Mele to die for -
