I was not a particular fan of Hubert Humphrey with his high pitched voice and effete mannerisms...did not go well with my low key SoCal lifestyle. I just could not relate. That was probably the beginning of the end of my romance with liberalism and all the hippie chicks that followed along.

I'm still not a dem. But i will be voting that way this election. I don't like the direction the republicans have been going these last few years.

I consider myself an independent....I don't believe in committing to one party, it encourages partisanship.
