Interesting that so far, no one has picked French! There is a wonderful French-Thai restaurant near me - quite delicious food. I picked Japanese as my favorite, as I eat that out the most, but I must have Italian (my soul food) at least once a week. My husband just discovered how to make gnocchi from leftover mashed potatoes - they are fabulous!

My favorite would be Chinese. I love vegetable spring rolls and kung pao shrimp with pork fried rice. Or beef with black bean sauce.

German, Spanish, Mexican, Cuban, Argentinian, actually all South American
cuisine, Persian (Afghan, Iranian, Iraqi), Moroccan, and so on...

Ha! Look at this! Proof that Phoenix didn't always use green-coloured print for her posts!

Did anybody mention Greek food. Last week I was in Greektown (Detroit). Had a wonderful meal. Tzadziki (cucumber, garlic, yoghurt dip), oktapodaki(marinated cold octupus, fun to say), melitzanosalata(cheese)(yes, I had to consult menu on the spelling of this one): http://www.pegasustaverna.com/pdfs/pegasus_menu.pdf
So many tasty dishes. Lambchops, eggplant, gyros, kabobs......
