Hope someone can help me. I've been stuck for days!

12a - Underlying motive (UF??????)
14d - Delight (??O??NS)
101d - Customary Practice (U?A?E)
81a - Spanish Holiday (FI?S?A)
103d - Flummox
140a - Cosmonaut (L?A?E?AN)

Sorry there's so many! I think I may have made mistakes elsewhere....! Still learning. It's killing me that I can't get these!!

I have the following:
12a = ULTERIOR
14d = ENCHANT
101d = USAGE
81a = FIESTA
103d = ADDLE
140a = SPACEMAN
