the front-end of the 4-door corvette reminds me somewhat of the studebaker powerhawk .
perhaps they hired some designers that grew up with studebaker designers .

I have to disagree with you here.

The Honda Element is probably the most functional car I've ever seen. I don't own one, but want one dearly. I'm not a vain as most, so the look of the car doesn't bother me, but functionaly, it's hard to beat.

Was the Corvette the car used in the tv series Route 66? If yes, a revival of the series could now include four, rather than just two main characters.

The breadboxes I referred to are those hybrid suv's, part sedan/station wagon, part suv cars that are so popular now.
