First off, Happy New Year all! Second, I was pondering the New Year and came up with some questions.:
What is a good time frame to stop saying Happy New Year to those you see?
Is it like milk? Does it go bad a week after purchase?
Does the New Year come with a receipt that lets you return it with store credit?
Can you regift a New Year?
When does the New Year become an Old Year?
I'm finished with it. Happy new year.
@Seed,
I probably stop saying it by mid-January.
@JPB,
and you plan on returning it back to the store after that?
i have not yet said happy new year
i've typed it here and on twitter, but haven't said it face to face yet
@Seed,
HA! No, it's used (and possibly overused) merchandise by then.
Roger called yesterday (new years day) of the 5 years I've know Roger I have been hospitalized on 2 b'day/new years days. I think he only called to see if I was in the hospital again this year. I'm pretty sure he was disappointed when I answered the phone.

In just a minute. After I've wished you & dys a happy new year.
Happy new year, Seed.
Happy new year, dys.
There. It's over now.
ps I think you should be out of hospital by now? Certainly hope so!
The whole thing's silly anyway. This doesn't feel like any new year to me. I think they pulled a fast one and slipped us a used year. Feels just like last year.
@Merry Andrew,
who do you call for something like that? Better Business Bureau?
