Does anyone do the Cryptic Challenge? I love them and they can be so frustrating. This issue (125) I have all the answers but #3 - "Angry words examined over country bar" (5). Once I have the answer I need a related word, the first letter of which is 'K'.
I know the final solution and it's driving me nuts!

Are you sure you're talking about Cryptic 125 from the Colossus????
I have all the clues in front of me but none come anywhere near the question you pose. Are you referrring to the Australian Edition of Lovatts?

I think grannylynne is talking about the puzzle on page 13 of colossus 125.
I generally only do the prize puzzles, thought maybe you might do more than that. At least we know which puzzle it is now.

Thank you jacaranda, that explains it, like you I only do the prize puzzles and my wife does the rest.
Carry on grannylynne, you've got me stumped on that one.
Sorry about confusing you all. I'd really love to hear from anyone who does these puzzles. I'm hooked on them! I always do the prize puzzles first (except in the case of the above) and then as many of the others as I can before the next magazine arrives in the mail demanding my attention. I have quite a stack of uncompleted magazines as you can imagine.
