In 1968 a statue head was shipped from Easter Island to the USA. The reason for removing the head from the island was to "rase money to save the statues." The head was setup for display in New York City and that is as far as I have been able to track it. I was the individule that loaded the head on a USAF aircraft and have always wondered if the head was returned as promised or where is it now 42 years later?
