what is the use of canvas fabric?

You can make sails with it.
outdoor cushions, covers for tents, awnings, - anytime you need a fabric that will wick away the water.
@ranjithaft,
You can make very useful bags with it. But it's hard to sew unless you have a commercial/industrial machine with a special needle.
