Do you prefer coffee or tea as your morning beverage of choice?

I start with strong black coffee, made the day before, so I can drink it before I am fully lucid. Then I brew a mix of green/oolong/black/blueberry/black currant tea that I drink in the morning and again at night. I also start the day with a multi-B and Eleuthero (Siberian Ginseng). Mid-morning I have another multi-B with Panax Ginseng. Oh yes, with the coffee I have a regular multi-with minerals, C, E, Omega-3, Zinc, Lecithin. At night the same, but with added Evening Primrose Oil, and another multi-B, plus a strong B-12 (1,000 mcgs).

oh my god your tea sounds like heaven...

@OGIONIK,
I start most days with a jumbo mug of Earl Grey tea, one sugar, occasionally a bit of milk. Later on it's whatever black tea I can get my hands on - Bigelow's English Breakfast or Twining's Irish Breakfast are my favs right now.

Coffee, black. No sweeteners no milk no imitative milk things made of liquid or powder. Coffee the way it's meaning to be. If you can't drink coffee straight then you have no rights to drink it at all. (just my own correct opinion)

Coffee before sunrise and coffee later and then more. I one time used to drink a pot of coffee by before noon time on the east coast now only 3 or 4 cups by then.

I have to have my Dutch Chocolate Almondine Coffee with cream and sugar. I take a thermos of it to work with me and drink it all day.

Big glass of iced coffee made with fortified milk, hazel nut coffee and saccharin. Just started that about a month ago because I hate saccharin in hot coffee and just must give up that sugar.

@Pemerson,
I have never seen the appeal to iced coffee. I have tried it and I just don't like it.

@Arella Mae,
It tastes like a coffee milkshake. Fill large glass with ice cubes, Pour milk (mine is 2% with Omega-3 added) over ice cubes, then fill class with coffee and add 1 saccharine) Don't use so much coffee.

This is my way of trying to give up coffee, and sugar

Not exactly sure if you're saying tea to the thirty two thousand and forty third power but tea is my favorite beverage (iced or hot) no matter what time of day it is.

@Pemerson,
Pemerson? You had me until you wrote saccharin. Sounds quite fulfilling a morning beverage to me if one used sugar in place of that blasphemous sweetener.

Have you tried Splenda? The first time I tried it was in a pie. I bought a frozen pie and didn't realize it was sugar free. My husband and I couldn't tell the difference.

@Arella Mae,
My mother let me try it once. Can't remember the context of what I was trying it in but sorry ... I'm a tad picky in the sweetener department.

@tsarstepan,
Yes, but I've found that saccharin tastes just like sugar in cold drinks like iced tea, iced coffee. I'm a real-sugar-person too (turbinator) but that's why I drink iced tea instead of hot. Saccharin tastes terrible in hot coffee. See? Saccharin also tastes good in oatmeal or grits, even cold cereal. I really mustgive up some sugar. You'd have to put a ton of real sugar in a great big ole glass of iced tea. Laughing
