Hi,

I am in a quandary regarding the answer to 34 down, takes off, as being ascends or ascents. From Wikipedia Dictionary ascent is the act of moving upwards, but is a noun, while ascend is the verb, to go or move upwards. Any ideas?

@dodgy,
Hiya dodgy,

I'd go with "ascenDs" here.
The plane takes off...
The plane ascends...

"Ascents" is just the plural form of the noun.

I'm sure a second opinion will be forthcoming anon.

@lmur,
Hi dodgy

Going with Lmur here, I also have ASCENDS in my solution.

Good luck.
