This morning Lady Diane and Thomas will attend the Church of Beethoven where they will, no doubt, enjoy cellist Felix Wurman who will continue his series on Bach's Solo Suites for cello AND violin with the Partitia No.1 in B minor for violin. The Partita comprises four movements, each with it's own variation. For this performance the variations will be played by violinist David Felberg. David will also perform Corigliano's "Red Violin". Poet Chris Wrenn will read his original work.
Osso will come over and finish making homemade pizza that she started working on last night.
Roger should be down somewhat later in the day for comraderie and eats.
The wind has stopped and the temp is expected to be about 60 F.
I'm not near as cranky as usual.

Interesting how well those two statements work together.

Attending the Church of Beethoven with Dianne made me smile on Sunday. Especially smile-inducing was how Dianne got all pious about it afterwards: "... well, we attended Church today, and then ...", "... as somebody mentioned to me in Church ...", etc. I tell you, this one is a budding fundamentalist.

PS: Felix Wurman and his cello were indisposed. We heard a brass quintet instead. I plan to write more about it in my Church of Beethoven thread.

This all seems quite acceptable.

Nay, praiseworthy.

And how come Thomas can have so many nice holiday trips while I'm stuck here?

@ossobuco,
Osso- And I would love to see you all too, (even Bob). Problem is, things are nutsy cuckoo in my neck of the woods. Apparently between me and Mr. P., one medical problem begets another.

If it is at all possible, I would love to see you in early fall.
