What was the weight of a fully-loaded Greek bireme, such as would have been used in the Trojan War? I need to know so I can figure out exactly how much tonnage Helen's "thousand ships" was, so as to properly compute the value of a millihelen (the amount of beauty needed to launch one ship).

@neonfox,

250 tonnes

They are measuring beauty by weight now?
I thought current thinking would make beauty in inverse proportion to weight?
