I'm looking to buy my first snowmobile. What should I look at for engine size and brand name. I am partial to Arctic Cat but I want to make sure I get something with enough power but not something to kill myself on. I would do mostly trail riding. What would you suggest?
I would live somewhere where snow is a seasonal occurence for more than say, 5 days a season. Here in Pa, weve had more Snowmobile dealerships go under since the 1970's when Skidoos were big time.
My neighbor bought 2 at an auction several years ago and has only used them a few times and most of the time he had to drive up to MIddletown NY to get some real snow.
We had a 6 in snow on Mon and Its mostly gone now. Itll be outta here this weekend, so my neighbor is screwed again. His snowmobiles look great though, they just sit in his equipment shed all covered up
