I will ask my previous question in a different way. Is it worth $200.00 for the furniture store to put on an oil based protectorant on a couch,loveseat, and recliner upholstered in micro fiber material?? Or is it just as good to spray on a protectorant (scotchguard) when I get it home???? I have heard that it it not good or necessary to put anything on it. Two different furniture stores told me two different stories??????

@dayers1234,
I don't get it. What was wrong with the answers you were already given on this thread:

how much does the furniture cost? i told you that scotchgard treatment comes with a replacement guarantee on the treated substrate. if you don't get the treatment and you nephew spills grape juice on the upholstry you wish you had the treatment.
