I wear New`Balance as they are a superior shoe with superior comfort. New Balance. Ask for them at any new sports shoe outlet. Nike sucks,

Now I'm wondering. Does anyone know if Nike is one of those big multinationals which exploit workers (who make their shoes) in poor countries? Paying them a pittance, then charging charging heaps for their products in well-off countries?

@msolga,
Sorry, forgot that this would be a localism. The Nike Zeus and several other versions were Surface to Air Missiles (SAMs)that were deployed all around urban areas of US during the cold war. They were the first stab at trying to develop a "missile shield " over populated areas. I dont think that many of the batteries are still in place,

@farmerman,
Right. I see, farmer.

So, I just learned something new (before 10:30, even!). Something I aim for each day, you see! Wink

@farmerman,
Yeah, I saw film clips of Nike series launches in junior high, back when the earth was much younger. That Zeus was awesome. Must be totally obsolete now, but nobody's bragging about the current portfolio, the way they used to.
