@gredney,
I'm sorry, gredney, but I don't know what the PGA is.

To gain Australian citizenship (as part of a dual citizenship) I'd assume he'd need to contact Australian Immigration authorities to get more information about how to apply.

@msolga,
MsOlga - PGA stands for Professional Golf Association.

@msolga,
This may be a good starting point:

http://www.australia.gov.au/Migrants

Also in the "Australia" forum here at A2K there are many threads asking for information about migrating to Oz. You might want to browse through them & see what you can find. Though, off the top of my head, I can't recall any on dual citizenship. But who knows?

Good luck & feel free to ask questions. There could be others who have been in the same position as your son & may be better able to advise than I can.

@msolga,
I'm sure there are many scenarios where that piece of information will stand you in good stead, one day.

Mind you, I can't think of any offhand.. Smile

I assume PGA stands for Professional Golfers Association.

On the other hand, a quick survey on the prerequisites for Australian citizenship shows that it doesn't seem very difficult:

@Francis,
Actually, Francis, it appears to have gotten considerably more difficult (judging by the experience of some folk I know) than it used to be. Getting a work visa is easier, though.

@msolga,
... which might be the best bet for gredney's son (if he simply wants to work here for a while), rather than dual citizenship.

@msolga,
Probably, msolga.

I reckon it's an experience that can get one upside down...
