Which verb should I use?

Probably because I'd think of "money and jewellery" as a unit. Swag.

Was is the correct term because it is 'lot' is the noun to which the verb applies, and in the wonderful world of English, a 'lot' is singular.

And correctly spell it 'jewelry'.

It will come, and I hope will be worth the wait.

Trouble is, F and I took it in turns to take pics (no point in too much duplication) and she hasn't downloaded her photos yet due to pressure of work and other things, so my/our record is incomplete so far.

Still, I promise I'll make a start tomorrow, and add more later where appropriate.
