What Infamous People Have You Met?

Note I said "infamous", not famous.

Roberto Somoza, son of Anastasio ("Tachito") Somoza Debayle, the Nicaraguan president until 1979, went to college with me. He was after the girl I was dating - apparently they had a political science class together. It was pretty frightening to have this very wealthy, dangerous, but of course tall, dark and mysterious guy chasing your girlfriend. He'd offer to fly her down to Miami for the weekend on his private jet. How do you compete with that? Fortunately, she had a good head on her shoulders and ignored him. She probably would have wound up dead or in serious trouble.

One of my best friends was tapped for the Richard Allen Davis trial as a juror (Polly Klass murder). He got far enough along in the process he had to stand up next to a shackled Davis, answering questions from the judge, before he was finally dismissed.

You?

That would make you approximately 96 years old. Seriously?

Kidding on the first, dead serious on the second.

I worked with the uncle of one of the kids that got eaten by Jeffrey Dahlmer.

How many points is that worth?

Heck of a nice man.

The uncle, not Dahlmer

Gus is our resident time traveller.

I do appreciate the humor, but I was being serious.

Sure.

The second in command of the Angels, Dennis Pellegrini, was arrested by feds in Alba, MI, a tiny little blink and you miss it place I drive through on my way up north, on meth charges.
