I learned how to do the "evil eye" hand gesture.

We drove home and got in around 4am. Youngest was still up. When I came in, he said "Um, is that what you wore to Priest?... I mean, flowers? C'mon, Mom."

Come to think of it, I was the only one in khaki shorts and a flowered blouse. Probably made my "evil eye" gestures pretty mute to all around me.

It was still fun!

Judas Priest played in our town in June. They were ok but I've seen them better...

Squinney, BigDice was wearing a hawaii shirt to the concert and that was a big two day open air festival with 20,000 people - mostly wearing black. A flowered blouse sounds perfect to me! Rock on!

Thanks, Urs. I feel a bit more hip, now, which is something I'm constantly fighting as the least hip member of the family. I had practiced banging my head without moving my whole body. I didn't really get that down.

Did Motorhead and Heaven & Hell play the 2 day festival with Priest?

No, just Judas Priest. Heaven & Hell played last year, Motörhead were here in 2005.

Yes, two days is a lot of noise for me, too Luckily, we live close by and can walk home. I cannot imagine staying in a tent at the festival grounds for a couple of days. I am much too old for that!

But I really enjoy the festival every year. The music is not always what I really like to listen to, but the people are fun and the atmosphere is great. So if you come to Germany in June this is where to go: BYH

Now I have to figure out how to get squinney to stop running around flashing the horns and yelling Priest Rules!!!! every 2 minutes. We were really getting some funny looks in the Food Lion yesterday.
