I know that you, like me, have a healthy regard for the dangerous effects of Space Alien and Republican emanations--those dangerous rays which beam across that nation, and can destroy the minds of the unwary. Of course, we all know the value of the tin foil hat--but have you ever felt that perhaps you weren't getting the protection you really needed? I know i have. So today, it came to me in flash, a simple method of making your tin foil hat more effective. More effective by orders of magnitude! See for yourself:

Sorry Setanta...

"...according to some wiz kid at MIT with a $250,000 network analyzer, that tin cap of yours actually tends to amplify certain frequencies that are reserved by the FCC for government use only, meaning their mind control rays have the most effect on the very people who go to the furthest trouble to protect themselves from such trickery. Oh what a world."

That won't help you, Tai . . . you need the next level of protection. If you hadn't been so nasty about it, i'd have revealed the new, secret improvement which makes my tin foil hat the safest there is . . .

(Edit: The Girl says she wants evidence, Tai . . . she wants pics . . . )

You guys are nuts. Absolutely, totally nuts, and small wonder it is. Those rays (cosmic, actually) are the only thing keeping us sane. Back in the day, nobody went crazy. Just look at us now. Why? We drive around in cars with metal roofs, work (and sometimes) live in steel reinforced buildings. The block those sanity preserving rays, that's why!

Party on, dudes.

Oh! I love those coloured colanders!!!

But...having a lot of stainless steel in my kitchen, I went for one of those instead.

I am wondering if that nice shark-proof chainmail orotonny stuff would do better and be more fashionable?

It's a kind of fish trap.

Not exactly the one I have, but close enough - til I can figger out a way to get it on my head (and be sure it'll come off again).

I don't think a tea leaf holder would fit over my hair.
