Nah, you can get into War and Peace after a while. How about the Aeneid in Latin? (though I remember there were some good parts).

You're slow? I still haven't finished reading kickycan's "History of Napkins".

I only read it in Latin, which was a bunch of work translating.

I happen to be the type who remembers the author's name, the director, sometimes the cinematographer, and has trouble coming up with the storyline if asked, never mind how it's plotted.

So, I don't remember if it was interesting in general. I don't think I ever cared about Dido..

It was like reading a serious crossword puzzle,
and it took a whole school year.

We went to the new Arby's for dinner. I managed to choke down a Reuben and a root beer.

that is slow.

what i do is read each word twice.
then i write a little summary of each paragraph in my notebook.

(no, you can't see my notebooks -- if that's what you were gonna ask me...)

Did you know that the Spanish word for "notebook" is "cuaderno?"

I find that very interesting.

I'm staring at a pile of rice right now. I find rice enthralling. I could look at it for hours, just watching, watching, watching, watching...watching...watching...

Holy crap, you're right. I may have to take something to calm myself down now.

<reaches over and takes a bong hit>

Ahhh....that's nice...and I'm back to calm. Watching, watching, watching...

Do you prefer sticky rice? I don't. I have to individually separate each grain. Then I eat all of my foods in spectral order. You know, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo. Since there are other colors I actually follow the electrical spectrum more often, which is:
black
brown
red
orange
yellow
green
blue
violet
grey
white

Hence burned toast first and mashed potatoes last.

Have you ever looked at your toes? Like, really looked at them. It's very Zen.

You should lie down. Here's a bed with white sheets and pillowcases.
