I have refined lollygagging to an art form.
True lollygagging must be graceful, yet unhurried and completely undirected.
To achieve true lollygagging mastery, one must be able to spend an entire twenty-four hours with absolutely no productive activity whatsoever. This includes site-seeing and exercise.
Dallying your Dilly is worse than Gagging your Lolly, IMO.
Dillydallying is wasting some one's time so it is worse. My children dillydally all the time especially in the morning. They dillydally and cause me to be late for work.
Lollygagging is what I do. Lollygagging is enjoying doing nothing when you don't have to be any where. I don't get to lollygag often enough.
Nothing wrong with lollygagging or dillydallying, even willynilly, but if you get caught at it you'd better be ready to dish out some serious mollycoddling.
