Jane, I often go with a really deep burgundy, and sometimes I step out with a pink tone, and once in a while the regular french manicure (which is only at hubby's request...i am not fan of the french mani)

I don't like the french manicure either, onyx, but I like to have them
completely painted in a shimmery pearl white. It looks so good in the
summer when the legs and feet are tanned. It would look good on you
too - I found this picture here....

Maybe this site really does need a women only forum.

Dammit all--Dys showed me how to download the photos to a2k, but the images didn't show. Apparently, because he used Firefox and I use Yahoo, there was a conflict in how they were supposed to be downloaded.

The links are in reverse order. I was going to show an image, then, in some, show the heel. So if you all can figure it out, I'll be happy. Wish I knew how to transfer from Flkr to a2k. Still a Luddite in many ways.

wow Diane, those are quite artistic shoes. I love them!!

You're also very hip and up to date on your converse - my daughter has
them in black, and I practically have to tear them off her or she would
sleep in them.

Thank you, CJane. I love the high-top Converse sneakers as much as the fancy ones.

I do most of my shoe shopping on Ebay now. The ones with the red heels are hand painted, and I'm sure I could never have afforded them right from the shoe shop.

I'm lovin' this.

In an article I read that movie stars have plastic surgery done to the balls of their feet, to add a little extra padding so they can wear those ultra high heels, like Manolo Blahniks.

For the rest of the mere mortals, maybe having those ergonomically designed shoes to wear inbetween times needed for the high, high heels, will help prevent the kind of damage women did to our feet forty years ago.

Plastic surgery on your feet?

On with the photos.
